Food Baskets for the Needy

The East Ridge Lodge #755 holds several food drives through out the year to collect canned food products to distribute to several needy families the weeks prior Thankgiving.

The list of needy families is obtained from Community Institutions that inform the Lodge of families with the most need.

Before delivery the Lodge perpares a food box loaded with a varity of canned food products, eggs, butter, bread and a frozen turkey. The boxes are delivered to the families with hope that they may enjoy the season of Thankgiving without worry or want.

Fruit Baskets for Our Widows

The East Ridge Lodge #755 looks forward all year for its annual delivery of fruit baskets to the widows of our members.

Each year the Lodge purchases well stocked fruitbaskets for each widow. The Lodge delivers the baskets during the month of December. The members delivering the bakets and enjoy talking to and wishing the widow and her family a Merry Christmas.

This is a time honor tradition and just a small way to continue our brotherly love by honoring the memories of past brothers who have now joined the "Celestial Lodge" above.

Child ID Kits @ RMHC

TN CHIP was established to raise public awareness concerning the risk of abduction or exploitation that our children now face in today's society. At each TN CHIP Event parents are provided, at no cost, a Complete ID Package that has been designed to provide a thorough description of their child. Each Id Packet contains vital identifying items for a child such as comprehensive identification questionnaire, hair samples, DNA sample, etc… The ID packets are retained by the parents and each parent is encouraged to annually update their child's ID kit as they grow with a current photo and any other pertinent information about their child that may aid Law Enforcement Agencies in the recovery of their child should the unthinkable ever happen.

The East Ridge Lodge #755 will have a tent set up at the Ronald McDonald House Charities Autumn Children's Festival on October 4th & 5th of 2014. The ACF is located at Tennessee River Park. All the ID kits are furnished by the TN Grand Lodge.
